We live for winter and the associated winter sports and we would like to say that some of you are guaranteed to feel the same way. Fortunately, there are still places that are covered with snow even in summer and we have to take advantage of them while they are still with us.
The Dachstein Glacier is one of those places we constantly visit in the summer to put our ski waxes through their paces for the upcoming racing season.
This year the winter summer season on the Dachstein starts even one week earlier than last year. From May 13 up to and including September 5, the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car will be in operation daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. to take not only us, but also you, into the white gold.
Currently the snow depth at Dachstein is 338 cm at a temperature of 2°C – we would say: perfect winter conditions.
Of course, you can also visit the glacier without skis in tow. There are many great activities that make a visit to the Dachstein an experience.
